Recruiting Ourso Students

Recruiting at LSU starts with Handshake, an online system that allows employers to post internships, full-time, part-time, and summer opportunities. Handshake is free for job seekers and job posters. With one account, an employer can recruit students from across campus. More than 80 percent of undergraduate business students use the system.

ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT AND START RECRUITING

Once registered on Handshake, employers have additional options to increase their visibility with LSU students. We offer “table sits” that put your recruiters face-to-face with business students for informal conversations in the Business Education Complex Rotunda. The E. J. Ourso College of Business Slack channel is another way to ensure that our students see your job openings. Reach out to Stephanie Gandy, assistant director of professional development, to learn more about these free opportunities.

The Olinde Career Center offers additional options to increase your visibility, including the Career Expo and Business Networking Reception. There is a cost associated with these events. For more information, download the Employer Recruitment Guide. While the college does not manage these events, Stephanie can connect any interested employer with the career center.
