How to Meet with Your Assigned UCAC Academic Counselor
Continuing students enrolled in the Center for Advising & Counseling (UCAC) can schedule an advising appointment with their assigned counselor via Navigate Student. UCAC students can schedule a virtual or in-person appointment with their assigned academic counselor through the Navigate Student app. See the video below for more information on this process.
Advising appointments are offered Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM – Central Standard Time and open continuously 14 days in advance. If all appointments are showing as full for the next two weeks, check the appointment system each morning at 8:15 AM (Central Standard Time) for possible same-day appointment availability.
New Transfer & Re-Entry Students
Transfer students and Re-Entry students who have been admitted to LSU for a future semester must be advised by a UCAC academic counselor prior to scheduling classes for their semester of entry/reentry. Email us at [email protected] to request advising assistance.
Current Senior College Students Exploring a Change of Major
Continuing students enrolled in an LSU senior college seeking advising from UCAC regarding a potential major change are not able to schedule a meeting via Navigate Student. Please email us at [email protected] to request advising assistance.
