Strategic Initiatives was recently awarded NSF funding for its ninth Bridge to the Doctorate Cohort! We are excited to welcome a new group of STEM fellows and leaders who will help to further our mission of leveling the playing field for underrepresented students at the doctoral level.
To be considered for the BD Program, prospective fellows must submit their LSU Graduate School application by December 1.
Four BD Fellows Receive Prestigious NSF Fellowships
Four BD Fellows were selected for the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP), a competitive award that recognizes and provides support for stellar graduate students in STEM disciplines. This award provides three-years of support in the amount of $34,000 in the form of an annual stipend and a cost of education allowance of $12,000 to the institution.
