Some student requests require individual appointments whereas others do not. Please consult our list of Academic Advising Services for more information.
We assist students via telephone, email, and individual appointments. Our normal hours of operation are Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If the university is closed, we are closed. Prospective Students (High School or Transfer)
Students can review the LSU Tiger Transfer Tables. This list reflects courses that have been previously evaluated by faculty at LSU for transfer equivalency. It is intended as a resource for students, but it is not a comprehensive list of all colleges or transferable courses. For more answers on transferring to LSU, please review the LSU Transfer Student Admission website.
Schedule a campus tour — we would love to meet you! Once your campus tour is set, you can schedule a major specific tour with our College of Science student ambassadors.
Once you have been accepted to LSU and confirmed all transcripts have been received, incoming transfer students must register for orientation. Once registered for orientation, you can make an advising appointment with an academic counselor in our office if you have declared a major within the College of Science. You can review the LSU General Catalog for a complete list of our majors, concentrations, and admission requirements.
