Research Interests

Condensed Matter Theory

I am interested in the competition and interplay of different ordering phenomena in electronic matter, and their connection to potential applications in quantum technology. In my research I combine analytical, computational, and ab-initio methods to develop a comprehensive picture that allows us to improve the physical understanding of the systems under investigations.

Topics that I have been interested in recent years include unconventional superconductivity in novel materials, including heavy fermion systems, physics of topological insulators and their heterostructures, and exotic magnetic materials.
