Biography
Challen Nicklen is a Professional-in-Residence jointly appointed in the Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies Program and International Studies Program. She regularly teaches Gender, Race, and Nation (WGSS 2900). She has also taught courses in transnational feminism, feminist theory, gender and militarism, global issues, and global civil society. Her research interests include the history of women’s transnational organizing, contemporary women’s transnational organizing, and feminist democratic practices.
