To live in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences Residential College (HSSRC) students must:
- Be a first-year student with a declared major in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences (HSS), including pre-law
- Enroll in at least two courses offered through the HSSRC in both the fall and spring semesters
- In the fall semester, all HSSRC students will be required to take HSS 1001: Introduction to Research, a one-hour once-a-week student success seminar
- Second fall HSSRC course- see list of past course offerings
- In the spring semester, all HSSRC students will be required to take HSS 1001: Introduction to Career Pathways, a one-hour once-a-week seminar that helps students link their chosen major to a career pathway and develop the skills and tools necessary to successfully navigate the job field once they've graduated
- Second spring HSSRC course- see list of past course offerings
- Participate in HSSRC programming specifically designed to enhance and improve student success
