An LSU Tradition.
Each year on the LSU Parade Ground, the LSU community comes together for this massive event. Fall Fest is a university tradition that began in 1994 as the Chancellor’s official welcome for new students, faculty, and staff and a welcome back for returning members of the University family. The event was held in the LSU Quadrangle for the first twenty years.
Today, Fall Fest is an event where students, faculty, and staff can come together on the LSU Parade Ground to celebrate being a part of the LSU community. It's an opportunity to learn about different campus departments, meet new friends and classmates, enjoy free food and drinks, claim free giveaways, and celebrate the spirit of LSU with student entertainment from the Fall Fest stage. Students can learn about LSU services and resources and visit with dozens of student organizations.
Fall Fest is free and open to LSU students, faculty, and staff. Tickets are not required,
but everyone should bring their Tiger Card to obtain food items.
*In the event of severe weather, Fall Fest will be rescheduled to October 13.
