Jennifer Cristina

Manager, Campus Life

I have been a student, student worker, volunteer, and staff member at LSU. Through all these roles, I have had a passion for serving our students. My hope is to share my experiences and love for our campus with students to help them form a love for LSU through meaningful experiences of their own. I want each of them to find a home here and to establish a foundation of scholarship, community, service, and career readiness.

I strive to make sure every student who crosses my path feels seen and heard and leaves with a positive experience in dealing with LSU staff.

Who has impacted you?

My parents met on a blind date when they were freshmen at LSU. They stayed in Baton Rouge to start their family after graduation and made LSU a very important part of my childhood. We attended sporting events and educational activities on campus every chance we got. My sister and brother and I became Tiger fans ourselves at a very early age. Besides instilling in us a passion for LSU and a focus on education, my parents have always exemplified a life of service to others. Anyone who knows my parents will tell you that they are the first to line up to help anyone who needs them. I hope to be able to serve others as they have and to model that service mindset to our students.

Favorite spot on campus

The Greek Theater! As a Classical Civilizations major, I studied Ancient Greek and Roman history, languages, and cultures. I have always loved that we have our own ties to that history in the architecture of our campus. The Greek Theater is my favorite example of this and a place I often go for quiet reflection.
