LSU sophomore Calcea Johnson has been named to the prestigious Ebony Power 100 list, spotlighting influential Black leaders shaping the future. Johnson joins fellow LSU Tigers Angel Reese and Sha’Carri Richardson.

LSU Tiger Marching Band Receives Grammy Nomination for Work with Sean Ardoin
Four-time Grammy-nominated zydeco musician and LSU alumnus Sean Ardoin’s new album, “Full Circle,” which featured a historic collaboration with LSU’s Tiger Marching Band, has been nominated for a Grammy award for Best Regional Roots Music Album, the Recording Academy announced Tuesday.
2022-23 Rucks Fellows Announced
The E. J. Ourso College of Business Rucks Department of Management recognizes 10 students as Rucks Fellows each year. These students are selected by faculty and represent the highest level of academic achievement among senior management majors in any of the department’s concentrations.

LSU Economics Major Receives PIMCO Future Leaders Scholarship
Samuel Camacho, an LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business senior from Maracaibo, Venezuela, was one of 50 students nationwide to receive the PIMCO Future Leaders Scholarship. In addition to the $20,000 scholarship, Camacho recently joined other recipients at PIMCO’s headquarters in Newport Beach, California.
